The host Windsor Cal Ripken League U-11 baseball All Stars displayed their trophies after capturing second place in the Nor Cal State Tournament last week.

11-U squad takes home second place hardware
The Windsor youth Cal Ripken Baseball League All-Stars are taking the field in big numbers this month in double-elimination tournaments all over Northern California, as teams look to extend their seasons for as long as possible.
Representing Windsor are the U-8, U-9, U-10, U-11 and U-12 All-Star squads.  
U-8
The Windsor U-8 All Stars are led by manager Robert Murray and includes players; Lukas Adriano, Anthony Azevedo, Ma’tai Fa’agata, Adam Henry, Cyrus Kelly, Marcello McFarland, Jared Murray, Jake Parnow, Dane Ramos, Micah Sanders, Casey Shields and Jake Simkins.
U-9
The Windsor U-9 All Star team competed in the Nor Cal State tournament hosted by Delta, playing three games before being eliminated. Windsor opened the tourney on June 25 in a 6-2 loss to the El Grove Blue, but bounced back the next day with a 13-3 romp over Galt.
The locals were bounced from the tournament on June 27 in a 14-4 loss to Laguna Grey.  
The team was led by manager Temo Reyes and coaches Thomas Ford Jr. and Mike McFadden. Players are; Brandon Curry, Thomas Ford, Kaden Gillette, Jack Jacobs, Spencer Jacobs, Aiden McFadden, Max McFerren, Moses Medeiros, Joshua Reyes, Nathan Sanders, Greg Starnes and Matthew Worlow.
U-10
The U-10 All-Stars traveled to Oakland for their tourney, opening up on July 2 with a 16-4 loss to the Laguna Purple.
Windsor rebounded the following day in a 7-3 win over Delta. At press time Windsor was preparing for a clash with the Rohnert Park Red on July 4.  
The squad is led by manager Scott DeMars and coaches Robert Johnson, and Jason Kraft.
Players include; Diego Boardman, Joseph Campbell, Clayton DeMars, Carson Dillon, Elijah Hackathorn, Robert Johnson Jr., Timothy Karriker, Colin Kraft, Giovanni Lucchesi, Riley Rathbun, Landen Rota and Jacob Scott.  
U-11
The Windsor U-11 served as the host of the All-Star tournament on June 25-July 1, scoring wins over Woodland (22-1), Rohnert Park Red (14-2), and Rohnert Park Blue (5-4). The good guys needed one more win to capture the tournament, but were beaten in successive games by the Rohnert Park Blue (9-1, 10-3) to finish in second place.
The squad was led by manager Marco River and coaches Damon Neidlinger and Jeramy Dominguez. Players are; Brady Boyd, Cameron Crean, Xavian Dominguez, Damian Escarcega, Finn Grace, Brett Neidlinger, Nathan Neihaus, Tyler Nordyke, Antonio Rivera, Quinton Robinson, Dominic Roderick and Joshua Volmeding.   
U-12
The Windsor 12-U All-Stars competed in their respective Nor Cal Tournament hosted by Galt on June 18-25, opening up with a 7-2 loss to the Laguna Purple. Windsor stayed alive with a 13-0 romp over Washington Manor, but was eliminated in a loss to Woodland (no score reported).    
The local squad is led by manager David Avila and coaches Joe Henderson, and Rich Hall. Players include; Gabriel Avila, Gianni Domenichelli, Jayden Gillette, Gary Hall, Joshua Henderson, Tyler McBratney, Carson Ramocinski, Elijah Sanders, Caden Towery, Chase Vehmeyer, Ben Weaver and Nico Zamora.
