and no scores. Leading the way on defense were linebackers Jake
Garzini, Adam Hendrickson, Travis Arreguin, Dalton Matthia and

penetration from defensive ends Kayla Mancini and Courtland Palmer.

Bulldog Mitey-Mites 33,
River City Raiders 0
The Mitey Mites defended their house and annihilated the River
City Raiders in this week¹s out of conference game. The Raiders
could not penetrate the Bulldogs defensive linemen led by Damien De
La Torre, Tyler Soracco, Mason Meier, Enrique Ledezma, Dillion
Plotner and linebackers Damon McKinney, Dylan Cleaver, Cody
Cattalini and Chandler Tinsley resulting in a scoreless game for
the Raiders. Quarterback, Zachery Ruybal, led the Offense with
extraordinary efforts made by Ivan Flores and Anthony Rea,
including touchdowns.
Highlights of the game included a catch by Jacob Sloma, who ran
it in for a touchdown, tackles for losses made by Damien De La
Torre and Damon McKinney, fumble recoveries by the Bulldogs¹
defense and offense, and a quarterback keeper by Zachery Ruybal in
the last 52 seconds of the second quarter, securing a halftime
score of 27-0. Honorable mentions include tackles made by Conner
Albright, Lucas Campos, Aaron Chavez, Tanner Coussen, Malloy
Schaffner, and Max Williams. The Healdsburg Bulldogs Cheerleaders
provided an excellent half-time show for the fans.
Bulldogs 12, Raiders 8
The Healdsburg Bulldogs welcomed the River City Raiders on
Sunday with fantastic performances by both teams. The Raiders¹
offense ran into a wall of Mac Newland and Josh Lepe on the line,
but ran the ball effectively enough to score the first TD. Jared
Walker’s run offense hammered up the left side … the right side …
and up the middle with Jay Thomas blasting through holes, scoring
their first TD with a 57-yard run. Jacob Arreguin added to the run
attack with a pounding sweep to put the Dawgs on top with a second
TD, making the score 12-6.
The Dawgs¹ defense created havoc with QB sacks recorded by Jay
Thomas and Julian Lopez and great secondary defensive performance
by Mikey Zeiger to prevent a Raider touchdown.
The Raiders final drive was crushed by a tackle and fumble
recovery by Conor McKay in the last minutes of the game.
Vacaville 21, Pee Wee Buldogs 18
It was a tough 21-18 loss Sunday for the Pee-Wee¹s first game of
the season against Vacaville. Randall Palmer avoided three tackle
attempts scoring the first touchdown. Scott Spregner ran the ball
half the field, but no touchdown because of a penalty. In the
second half Austin Castando ran 18 yards setting up Garrett Roux to
make the next touchdown, Gardner Imhoff ran the ball for a 25-yard
gain, and Palmer sprinted 51 yards for a third touchdown.
Impressive fumble recoveries by Jeffrey Hickman and Aaron
Delaney-Myers, and key tackles by Imhoff and Michael Murphy. Great
effort by all team members.
