Brian Lee Burton died peacefully on December 19, 2003 in Vail
Colorado. He was born January 30, 1953 in Palo Alto. Brian was an
extraordinary man of creative energies, inspirational spirit and
kindness. His passion for the entertainment business came second to
his love for his friends and family. Brian delighted in
entertaining friends and sharing his latest project, orchids,
homemade French Fries or his prized treasures from around the
world. His completely unique perspective touched anyone who knew
him. Brian graduated from Healdsburg High School in 1969. His
career began at Disney’s 16mm division. In 1987, he started Brian
Burton Productions, producing and directing American Express
adventure films and MCA home video promotional materials. He was VP
of publicity at Columbia Pictures. He produced and directed EPKs
for the motion picture marketing campaigns of Air Force One, As
Good As It Gets, and Men In Black. He leaves us with a memory of
his smiling face and the uncanny gift for showing us a more
beautiful world. Brian is survived by both of his parents, Tom and
Alberta, brothers Bruce, Greg and Curtis, sisters in law Connie,
Diane, Lynn and Debbi as well as his partner Jonathan. Brian was
predeceased by his brother Trevor. Visit www.dison.org/brianburton
