Beverly (Bev) Greene passed away June 22nd at Willamette Medical Center, McMinnville OR. with her daughters by her side. Predeceased by the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Greene, they are resting at Willamette Veterans Cemetery in Portland, OR.
Bob was born in Toledo, Oregon, Bev in Bakersfield, California. They met in Cloverdale and were married in the Congregational Church in 1962. Bob and Bev were active members of the Cloverdale community from the mid 1950s to the early 1970s.
Bev worked at the Cloverdale Cleaners and Donnelly’s Department Store before they moved to Windsor and she began her career at Hewlett Packard in Santa Rosa. Bob worked for Monadonicos before starting his own repair business simply called Bob Greene T.V. and Appliance. In the early 1970s, he started work as the chief maintenance engineer at the Emporium in Santa Rosa.
In 1983, with Bob retired, Bev took a transfer to the HP plant in McMinnville where they found another small, friendly community, surrounded by vineyards and close to the Pacific Coast. They continued to think of Cloverdale with fond memories, filled with good friends.
Bev and Bob are survived by their children: Donna Delzell of McMinnville, Cynthia Totten of Olympia, WA., Angela Mosher of Phoenix, AZ and David Greene of the Bay Area, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
