Auda Bell Davis passed away on December 4, on a beautiful winter
morning. Ms. Davis was born on March 11, 1914 in Rush Springs,
Oklahoma, one of 11 children. She came to California in 1948 to
make a new home and raise her four children. She worked as a
nurse’s aide for Santa Rosa Community and Healdsburg General
Hospitals. She was a talented quilt maker and crafter and loved to
travel in her younger days. Her daughter Evelyn preceded her in
death. She is survived by her children Roy and Janeen Davis,
Clarence and Alyce Davis, & Caroline and Dino Ferrari. Her nine
grandchildren, whose memories will be passed to her 11
great-grandchildren, will fondly remember her. She is also survived
by her extended family in Oklahoma, including siblings, nieces and
nephews. She lived her life with passion and will truly be missed.
Friends are invited to a graveside service on Thursday, December
12, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Cemetery in Windsor.
