Osborn qualifies for state wrestling meet
Sophomore Ivory Osborn is in the midst of an historic wrestling campaign for the Lady Jaguars, capturing third place in the 116-pound weight class at the recent NCS Championships in Albany. Osborn entered the NCS meet seeded fifth, but recorded three wins including a pair by fall to punch her ticket to state.
Silva on top in NBL wrestling
Sophomore wrestler Trent Silva left no doubt regarding NBL supremacy at the league championships on Feb. 17, navigating the 154-pound weight division to capture his second straight league title. One of the top ranked wrestlers in the Section, Silva will now set his sights on a top NCS finish and a return trip to the CIF State Championships.
