Murphy wraps up hoops career
Senior Mattie Murphy finished up a distinguished high school basketball career with games against Cardinal Newman and Ukiah last week, a run that helped the Jags to frequent wins and three trips to the NCS tournament. Murphy, a fierce defender and rebounder, averaged over five points per game this season and was among the top post players in the NBL.
Brown a man on a mission for Jaguars
Senior Conor Brown has been on a roll this season for the North Bay League champion Windsor wrestling team, scoring big wins in both league and tournament competition. The 132-pound veteran enjoyed his best stretch of the season to date, recording a win by fall in a dual meet win over Casa Grande on Feb. 7, then followed up by going 3-0 in his weight class to help the Jaguars to the NCS Duals Team championship on Saturday.
