Merical enjoying strong season for Jags
Junior guard Jordan Merical is in the midst of a break-out basketball campaign for the Jaguars, emerging as a key member of the back court. A good shooter who can handle the ball, Merical turned in a good effort in a Dec. 5 preseason clash with Healdsburg, chipping in five points and three steals in a 51-44 win.
Russotti a proven veteran for Lady Jaguars
Junior Tori Russotti has been a key player for the Lady Jags varsity basketball team for three seasons and seems poised for her best yet this winter. The veteran guard enjoyed a solid all-around performance in Windsor’s Rumble in the Jungle Tournament last weekend, most notably in a seven point, seven rebound effort in helping her team to a 58-44 rout over Napa.
