Throughout the school year, the Windsor Times will name a male and female athlete of the week. Recipients will receive a free small soda, small bag of chips and sandwich from Pohley’s Market.
Kane heating up for Jags baseballers
Senior baseball veteran Tanner Kane is off to a great start for the Jaguars in the first month of the season, contributing in all phases of the game. A reliable pitcher, Kane is part of a strong stable of arms. He’s been even more productive at the plate with a recent hot streak, including a single that led to the winning run in a 1-0 victory over Analy on March 22.
Call sets bar high for Windsor track team  
Senior track & field star Maddie Call has nearly seen and done it all in a sparkling four-year varsity career for the Jaguars, but hasn’t spent much time resting on her laurels. The WHS record holder and reigning league champion in the 100 Meter High Hurdles and 300 Meter Intermediate hurdles, Call has been in near peak form in season-opening meets this month, including a great showing at the Windsor Relays.
