Corcoran stepping up for basketball team
Senior guard Andrew Corcoran has played some of his best basketball of the winter campaign this month, turning in a string of great outings in North Bay League action. Corcoran was at the core of a strong Windsor upset bid in a Jan. 23 visit to Montgomery, chipping in seven points in a close loss to the Vikings.
Carrillo a leader on WHS cheer squad
Senior captain Karina Carrillo has been a great leader on the talented Windsor High School Competition Cheer team this year, helping to guide the team to victories at both the JAMZ and USA competitions throughout Northern California. Carrillo has now set her sights on the National Championships on Feb. 22-23 in Anaheim, where the Jaguars hope to defend their title. Â
