Throughout the school year, the Windsor Times will name a male and female athlete of the week.
Hernandez a solid glove for softball squad
Sophomore infielder Gracie Hernandez has been an integral part of the Windsor High School softball team since stepping onto the varsity diamond as a freshman, providing production and stability at the shortstop position. Hernandez was among the bright spots in an otherwise uneventful loss at San Marin on March 8, turning in a series of outstanding defensive plays.
Ramocinski an impact player for baseball team
Freshman Carson Ramocinski has been a pleasant surprise for the varsity baseball team this season, making a huge contribution in the early stages of the campaign. A slick fielding shortstop, Ramocinski is equally valuable with a bat in his hands, hitting safely in all three of the Jaguars’ games last week.
