Throughout the school year, the Windsor Times will name a male and female athlete of the week.
Carlozzi a key basketball veteran
Senior basketball forward Travis Carlozzi is off to a great preseason start for the Jaguars, doing the job on both ends of the floor. A consistent scorer and rebounder, the three-year veteran is perhaps at his best on the defensive end of the floor. Last weekend, Carlozzi turned in an outstanding overall performance at the Brett Callan Tournament, pouring in a combined 30 points while playing great defense.
Balogh a potent scorer on the soccer pitch
Sophomore soccer star Amber Balogh is in the midst of a sensational winter campaign for the Lady Jaguars, leading the team’s offensive attack. Possessing great speed and a nose for the ball, Balogh has been involved in most of Windsor’s scoring opportunities and leads the team in nearly every offensive category.
