Throughout the school year, the Windsor Times will name a male and female athlete of the week. Recipients will receive a free small soda, small bag of chips and sandwich from Pohley’s Market.
Brown a leader for Jags baseballers
Senior outfielder/pitcher Max Brown has been a key player in Windsor’s quest for a North Coast Section playoff berth, providing both production and leadership on the field. Brown turned in a solid outing in relief in the league finale against Ukiah, tossing an inning of no-hit, scoreless ball.
Golding wraps up strong softball campaign
Junior softballer Ashley Golding finished up an outstanding season last week in final games against Montgomery and Ukiah, turning in a solid effort in both contests. Batting from the left side, Golding was a tough out during the year, finishing among the team leaders in batting average (.266), hits (17), and runs scored (12).
