Throughout the school year, the Windsor Times will name a male and female athlete of the week. Recipients will receive a free small soda, small bag of chips and sandwich from Pohley’s Market.
McLaughlin an emerging star for Running Jags
Freshman track and field standout Scott McLaughlin has made a huge impact in his first year of varsity competition, emerging among the most promising athletes in the North Bay League. Last week, McLaughlin continued to shine in a tri-meet with Ukiah and Casa Grande, capturing second place in both the 100 Meter High Hurdles and Long Jump events.
Scott a talented player for WHS softballers    
Freshman pitcher/first baseman Kayla Scott has made the most of the spring softball campaign for the WHS varsity softball squad, establishing herself as a reliable starter in all phases. Scott turned in a typically strong effort in a May 5 game against Casa Grande, collecting a hit while tossing a complete game in leading her team to an 11-4 win.
