McLaughlin hitting stride for track team
Senior track and field veteran Casey McLaughlin is hitting his midseason stride for the Windsor High School Jaguars, as evidenced by an outstanding individual effort at the North Coast Extravaganza meet on Saturday. McLaughlin, part of a potent duo with brother Scott, captured first place in the varsity long jump competition with a leap of 19’ 9.5”.
Johnson a rising star for Lady Jaguars
Sophomore track standout Emily Johnson is on a mission this season for the Lady Jaguars, emerging as one of the top jumpers in the Redwood Empire. Johnson continued to shine at the North Coast Extravaganza on March 9 in Santa Rosa, taking first place in the varsity high jump (4’ 10”) and triple jump (31’7”), while adding a second place finish in the long jump (15’ 5”).
