Leon a key player for football team
Junior running back/linebacker Lorenzo Leon is in the midst of a great fall football campaign, making big plays on both sides of the ball. Leon turned in another in a string of great performances in Friday’s 14-0 win over Montgomery, leading the offense with 90 yards rushing while recording three tackles, a sack and an interception on defense.

Senior Katie Mullins has been the quintessential leader for the WHS girls golf team this season, emerging as the top player on a rebuilding squad. A model of consistency in the first month of play, the seasoned veteran led her team in scoring in recent matches against Healdsburg and Cardinal Newman, carding rounds of 54 and 59 respectively.Â
