Larson off to fast start for Running Jags
Junior cross country runner Hunter Larson has his sights set on a standout season as evidenced by a couple of great efforts in meets this month. The third-year veteran turned in a strong effort at the recent Viking Invitational meet on the abbreviated 2-mile Spring Lake course in Santa Rosa, finishing 12th overall in the junior race in a fast 11:06.
Dyer a proven veteran for volleyball team
Senior outside hitter Elena Dyer is enjoying a stellar volleyball season for the Lady Jaguars, emerging as one of the top offensive threats on the team. Dyer logged another in a series of great matches in a Sept. 20 visit to Montgomery, recording a team-best 13 kills in a well-played, four set loss to the Vikings.
