Senior basketball guard Jordan Merical is hitting his midseason stride this month after a series of great performances in both tournament and league action. The veteran guard led the Jaguars with a combined 53 points in the recent Windsor Holiday Shootout tourney, and chipped in nine points in a close loss to league power Montgomery on Jan. 3.
Perez adds freshman talent to wrestling team
Freshman wrestler Carmen Perez has lived up to all expectations for the Lady Jaguars this year in her first varsity season, making her presence felt in every competition. Perez’ latest exploits came at the Queen of the Mat Tournament in Pittsburg on Dec. 29 winning three out of four matches, including two by fall, to take home a second place medal. Â
