Junior center Christian Jernigan has been nothing short of sensational in the first month of preseason basketball, leading the Jaguars with production and tenacity. The budding star continued his emergence at the Rose City Tournament at Cardinal Newman last weekend, leading the team in scoring and rebounding to earn his second straight all-tourney award.
Gilbertson an emerging star for Lady JagsÂ
Freshman forward Meredith Gilbertson has been everything the Lady Jaguars hoped she would be and more through the first seven games, making big contributions on both ends of the floor. The talented first-year varsity standout turned in a strong overall performance at the Windsor Tournament on Dec. 6-8, finishing among her team’s top scorers in each game.Â
