Editor: The Rotary Club of Healdsburg held its 30th Annual Crab
Feed and Auction at the Villa Chanticleer on Saturday, December 12.
The event was a great success with more than 450 people attending.
This is our largest fundraiser each year, and the majority of the
proceeds go to community needs in Healdsburg. This past year we
gave ongoing support to Healdsburg Hospital and also funded
projects at the Pediatric Dental Initiative. In addition we
partially underwrote the My Body is Healthy Program at our
elementary schools and supported the new library at Healdsburg
Junior High. We continued our 2nd grade reading program at HES and
are developing new initiatives at HHS.
Without the support of our community this fundraiser could not
be the success that it has been over the years. Special thanks go
to all the businesses and individuals who made donations to our
live and silent auction as well as to those who sponsored the event
and purchased items at the auction.
David Kenady and Henk Peeters,
Co-Chairs, Rotary Crab Feed
