Angelo Scalese passed away peacefully on Friday, July 2, 2004 at
home with his loving wife of 14 years at his side. Angelo was born
in North Adams, Massachusetts on September 14, 1921. He is survived
by his wife Ruth of Rohnert Park; Angelo was preceded in death by
his first wife Geneva Scalese of 42 years. He is preceded in death
by his parents Sam and Antoinette Scalese; son Angelo Jr.; sister
Yolanda Moore; and brother Anthony Scalese. Angelo is survived by
his daughters Cynthia Scalese of Santa Rosa and Marie Scalese of
Rohnert Park; sons Randy Prince of Sebastopol and Michael Stolte
and wife Jackie of Springfield, Illinois; daughters Shelly Garrett
and husband Les of Rohnert Park, Vicki Stolte of Tucson, Arizona,
and Karen Simpson of Rohnert Park; brother Chris Scalese of
Healdsburg; sisters Muffy Brady of Geyserville and Adeline and
husband Henry Tedeschi of Healdsburg. Angelo was greatly loved and
will be missed by his 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren
along with numerous nieces and nephews. Angelo honorably served his
country during World War II. His family will miss his special
meatballs that he cooked for the holidays. Services were be held on
Thursday, July 8, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cotati, followed
by interment at Oak Mound Cemetery in Healdsburg.
