Local high school wrestlers were recognized for an outstanding winter season in all North Bay League Redwood Division voting last month, with seven athletes garnering awards.
Leading the list of all leaguers for the El Molino Lions was NBL Female Wrestler of the Year and State Qualifier sophomore Hannah Ricioli. She’s joined by teammate and first-team all leaguer Ardenne “Chevy” Chevrolet and sophomore second team all league boys selection Erik Dimond.
Analy senior league champion and former state qualifier Preston Bagan was also awarded for a great 2018-19 campaign, being named the NBL Male Wrestler of the Year in the Redwood Division.Â
Joining Bagan on the all league squad were Analy second-team honorees: senior Jimmy Carreras, junior Lorenzo Robles and sophomore Zach Fogg.
