Analy boys on verge of league golf repeat:Tigers in first place

The defending Sonoma County League champion Analy boys golf team (pictured on page 15) is on the verge of another title this week after closing out the regular season schedule with a pair of wins.
The Tigers scored match victories over second place Healdsburg (216-230) and Sonoma Valley (237-273) in road and home matches on April 19 and 21, finishing atop the SCL standings with a 9-1 record.
The team is led by All-League veterans Max Ringrose and Nick Pearson, two of the top players in the Redwood Empire. Other big contributors on the squad are Zane Hess, Calvin Metcalf, Tanner Brown, and Brandon Hallengren.  
The Tigers, whose only blemish this season is a loss to Petaluma, can secure the league title outright next Monday, May 2 when they tee off in the SCL Tournament at the Windsor Golf Club.
