The Western Sonoma County Historical Society is hosting a
special fund-raising event at the Sebastopol Memorial Lawn Cemetery
on Friday, Oct. 10 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The evening includes a
soup and salad supper at St. Stephen’s Curcy Hall on Robinson Road
and a short guided walk to the cemetery (through Burbank Farm) for
several dramatized historical vignettes and a tour of the cemetery.
That will be followed by coffee and dessert at the Burbank Farm
Cottage. The special event will benefit the Burbank Farm. Tickets
are $25 per person and must be purchased in advance. Call 823-0884

Reilly is first out of the blocks
Fifth District Supervisor Mike Reilly, whose district includes
the sprawling West County, will host “A Grassroots Reunion to
Re-Elect Mike Reilly” on Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Sebastopol
Community Center. (Reilly officially kicked off his bid for a third
term last Saturday in Forestville’s Youth Park.) The Oct. 18 event
includes a dinner by Pasta King Art Ibleto and dancing to the
Poyntless Sisters. A no-host bar gets started at 6 p.m., followed
by dinner at 7 p.m. and dancing from 8-10 p.m. Tickets are $20 for
adults, $10 for children 6-12. For more information, call
