Fundraiser for Beekeepers & Educators Engaged (BEE) in Kenya, a nonprofit co-founded by Candice Koseba and Sonoma County Bee Company. The Saturday Sept. 20 event at Acorn Cafe will feature a Kenyan-inspired multicourse meal prepared by Acorn’s Beryl Adler, wine pairings, a honey tasting (Kenyan vs. Sonoma County honey) and a silent auction.

Arts-Plus Calendar, Aug. 21-28
It’s about time a Michael Jackson tribute band showed up in town. “Rock With You – the Michael Jackson Experience” features two MJ tribute artists heading a 10-plus-piece live ensemble, claiming to be the only MJ tribute in the world to have 100% live vocals. The popular summer concert series Tuesdays in the Plaza continues with the Tierra Caliente music from La Sentencia de Tuzantla, featuring musicians from Michoacan. Arrive early to claim your space. Onsite food vendors offer locally sourced food for sale starting at 5pm, music from 6-8pm.

History Talks: The docents of the Healdsburg Museum once again present programs at the Plaza on Saturdays, 10am to noon. “The Annals of Alexander Valley” is this week’s topic; show up early as attendance seems to get higher every weekend. Plus “Many Paths to Healdsburg” is the theme of the new exhibit opening this Saturday at the museum.
