Abel Cordero died Nov. 17, 2007 at his home in Sebastopol. He
was 71. He was born in Miguel Auza, Zacatecas, Mexico and came to
the U.S. in 1969 and worked at Twin Hills Ranch for many years then
went on to work for Apple Time Cannery where he retired. After his
retirement he continued working as a landscaper.
Cordero is survived by his wife of 42 years Consuelo, children
Jocabed, Olivia and husband John Beretta, Abel, Raquel, and Egla
and husband Peter Ortiz, as well as six grandchildren.
Services were held on Nov. 25, 2007 at the Centro Evangelistico
Cristiano, 1589 Hampton Way in Santa Rosa. Donations in his memory
may be sent to Memorial Hospice, 821 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa,
CA. 95401.
