Mambo, music and more — Healdsburg Elementary School and Healdsburg Charter students took to the  recess yard Friday morning for a fun-filled Multicultural Day celebration. TK and kindergarteners clad in butterfly wings kicked off the event by singing “Hello to all the children of the world,” a tune that has kids sing “hello” in different languages such as French and Spanish.
Other performances include a rendition of the mambo and other traditional Latin dances.
Second graders performed a synchronized dance and song to the “River Song” by the Banana Slug String Band and a group of students also sang along to the “Corazon” song.
