The Western Regional Barista Championships is
set for February18-20, 2005 and is being co-hosted by Roshambo
Winery of Healdsburg and Taylor Maid Farms in Sebastopol.
The Flying Goat of Healdsurg is also sponsoring the event, and a
barista from Cafe Noto in Windsor will be competing. For more

The Wine Shop in Healdsburg will host a
champagne and port holiday delights tasting on Friday, Dec. 17 from
6 to 8 p.m. at 331 Healdsburg Ave. A nominal tasting fee applies to

The Relish Culinary School will present a
holiday sweets cooking class for kids on Tuesday, Dec. 21 at the
Vineyard Club in Geyserville. The hands-on cooking class is one
where kids will do it all – mix, stir, roll, bake, decorate and
eat. Cost is $35. Two classes are offered, one for K-2 (2:30-4
p.m.) and one for third to sixth graders (10:30 .m. to 12:30 p.m.).
