The third annual Artisan Cheese and Wine
Festival
will take place on Saturday, April 3 from 11 a.m.
to 4 p.m. at the Chateau Souverain Winery in Geyserville. A wide
array of cheese artisans, cheese industry experts, chefs and
winemakers will host seminars and cooking demonstrations. Seminars
will include wine and cheese pairing and cooking demonstrations
Tickets for the event are $25 in advance, $30 the day of the event,
and $35 and $40 for festival and the seminars. For information,

The Alexander Valley Winegrowers will host
their monthly “First Weekend” event on April 3 & 4 with a
“Salute Al’ltalia” featuring a salute to Italy. The lineup of
participating wineries, with featured wines, includes Trentadue
Winery (La Storia Cuvee 32); Chateau Felice (Vina de la Cruz
Sangiovese); Field Stone Winery (Italian Red); Alexander Valley
Vineyards (2002 Estate Sangiovese); and Seghesio Family Vineyards
(2002 Arneis, 2001 Sangiovese and 2001 Omaggio “Super-Tuscan”
blend).
