LaCrema will be the featured winery at this
week’s (May 19) Wine Dinner Series at Guerneville’s Fife’s
Roadhouse Restaurant. Executive Chef Erik Nielsen designs his menu
for a full evening of wine pairings. Cost is $75. Call 869-0656 for
reservations. Fife’s Roadhouse also recently opened a new wine bar
offering a large selection of wines to taste in one- and
three-ounce pours.
The Arts Council of Sonoma County’s seventh annual
Achievement in the Arts event on May 22 from 4:30 to 9
p.m. honors the philanthropic and artistic contributions of Donald
andMaureen Green. The event at the Sheraton Petaluma Hotel will
include wines from the Russian River Valley Winegrowers, dinner by
Executive Chef Wayne Van Atkin, musical performances and silent and
live auctions. Tickets are $150 each; proceeds benefit the Arts
Council arts education initiatives. For reservations, call
