A few Wine & Food events

The Redwood Hill Farm & Creamery will host
a series of spring farm tours to welcome visitors to their new
creamery and their farm. Saturday and Sunday, May 7 & 8 and
June 4 & 5 there will be creamery tours from 10 a.m. to noon
and farm tours from noon to 4 p.m. Visitors can learn about
cheesemaking, play with baby goats and sample the complete line of
yogurt and cheeses. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children

Christopher Creek Winery in Healdsburg will
hold its annual Syrah Fiesta on Saturday, May 14 from 11 a.m. to 4
p.m. at the winery, located at 641 Limerick Ln. The event will
feature the pairing of Mexican food with Christopher Creek syrahs.
There will also be a vertical tasting of older vintage syrahs and
barrel tastes of the 2004 Russian River Estate Bottled Reserve
Syrah. A special treat will be a tasting of the limited-release
2001 Russian River Deux Barrique. There is no charge for the
event.
