Family Action and the Northern California Center for
Well Being will host their second annual fundraiser,
“Celebration of Dreams,” this Thursday, Sept. 9 from 5:30 to 8:30
p.m. at the Paradise Ridge Winery in Santa Rosa. Guests can enjoy
the sunset from the winery’s deck, bid on hundreds of live and
silent auction items and enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are
$50 per person and reservations are still available by calling
Family Action at 586-3032.
Soroptimist International of Healdsburg will
host its 18th annual beer and sausage tasting in Healdsburg’s Plaza
Park on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 3 to 7 p.m. This year’s event
promises good food and brew. The event features many microbrewed
beers from the West Coast, grilled gourmet sausage and music by the
Shannon Ryder Band. The raffle grand prize is a Healdsburg shopping
spree. Tickets for the event are $15 and include a souvenir glass
and three tasting tickets.
