A few Wine & Food events

Thirty wineries of the Russian River Wine Road
will team up Saturday Aug. 13 from 1-4 p.m. in the gardens at Davis
Bynum Winery for their 7th Annual Road Trip for an afternoon of
wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, live music, vineyard tours and a
silent auction. Wineries from the Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian
River valleys will be pouring wine.
The RRWR is again teaming up with the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
For every ticket sold, $1 will be donated to the REFB along with 10
percent of auction proceeds. For every $1 donated, the food bank is
able to purchase $6 worth of food. Each month the food bank
provides meals to 18,000 children. Over the past 12 months, the
Russian River Wine Road has donated more than $3,000 from event
ticket sales and 1,000 pounds of food from its Barrel Tasting
Weekend food drive.

RoadRunner Club.
