Sonoma State University has announced its
Wine Business Program fall 2004 professional
development courses, including a series of half-day courses and
semester-long academic courses. Half day offerings include legal
and regulatory updates, winery financial statements, marketing wine
to restaurants, direct marketing, exporting and wine writing. For

Hanna Winery invites the public to join them
for “Sunsets on the Veranda” on Fridays from 5-8 p.m. from August
20 through September 10. Guests can enjoy wines by the glass paired
with light hors d’oeuvres and take in spectacular views of the
sunset from the winery’s veranda overlooking the Alexander Valley.
Each week a different theme will be featured. Meet artist Brooks
Anderson on Aug. 20, join Humphrey Bogart on our virtual movie set
Aug. 27, and you can hula to a Maui sunset on September 10. Hanna
