A few Wine & Food events

The Russian River Valley Foundation, a
non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to enriching
children’s education, will hold its second annual “Little Yellow
School Bus Art and Wine Tour” taking place on Oct. 23 from 11 a.m.
to 7 p.m. The day-long benefit begins at Fifes Guest Ranch in
Guerneville and includes a choice of two bus tours to wineries and
art galleries. Patrons will return to the ranch for dinner, dancing
and a live auction. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased online at
www.russianrivervalleyfoundation.org or by calling 524-9846. The
majority of proceeds are donated to art and music programs in
Russian River Valley schools.
Quivira Vineyards will host its 4th annual
Grape Stomp Contest & Party on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 2 to 5
p.m. Guests can enjoy Quivira wine, live music by Poor Man’s
Whiskey, delicious food, a grape stomping contest and a kiddie
craft corner. Tickets are $15 to get in the door to the party, and
then $5/person to stomp grapes. For more information, call
