Monday, Dec. 9
10:22am Graffiti was reported on March Avenue on an electrical box.
11:32am Graffiti was reported on the Foss Creek Trail near Grove Street at Healdsburg Avenue.
3:18pm The Reporting Party (RP) on Hudson Street indicated that a transient was camped on the property and the RP wanted the person to leave. The RP did not want to press charges. An officer responded but was unable to locate the transient. The officer gave the RP advice and forwarded the information to the therapist on staff for possible follow up.
Tuesday, Dec. 10
2:31am The RP, the manager of the complex at Fitch Mountain Terrace II on Heron Drive, believed someone was circling the property. The RP stated that she had a Ring notification around 1:30am of a man loitering around her door. The RP was concerned because there were recent incidents of a man entering units without consent. Officers responded and contacted two subjects. A 57-year-old (YO) man was cited and released on outstanding Sonoma County warrants regarding failure to appear in court and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both people were verbally told not to trespass on the property.
11:23am A vehicle was stopped on Highway 101 at Old Redwood Highway for violating vehicle registration rules. A 49-YO man was cited and released for violating probation and driving with a license suspended for driving under the influence (DUI) and on an outstanding out of county warrant regarding contempt of court.
11:56am Petty theft occurred at Falling for Dainty on Center Street. A woman stole two rings on December 9 worth approximately $140. The RP had footage and wanted to press charges. An officer responded, contacted the store owner, and took a report.
4:24pm A vehicle at Enso Village on Boxheart Drive was stopped for violating vehicle registration rules. A 46-YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for not using a required ignition interlock device, violating probation, and driving with a license suspended for DUI.
Wednesday, Dec. 11
2:24pm Battery occurred at the West Plaza Parking Lot on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP indicated that he was in a fight with the suspect. The RP declined medical help. An officer searched for the suspect and met with a witness who stated that the suspect fled. The suspect left his bike on the scene. The officer was told the combat was mutual. Officers were instructed to be on the lookout for the suspect and a report was taken.
5:20pm The RP on Matheson Street indicated that she saw a man on a bicycle go to the back of a house. The man was in all black and had a bag and dog with him. An officer responded with the therapist on staff. A 42-YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for burglary, resisting an officer, criminal threats, vandalism, resisting arrest, and public intoxication.
Thursday, Dec. 12
8:30pm A vehicle was stopped at Memorial Beach Market because the officer recognized the person was on probation. A 24-YO man was arrested and taken to county jail for DUI, driving without a required ignition interlock device, violating probation, driving with a license suspended for DUI and resisting arrest.
Friday, Dec. 13
9:06am A client on Hudson Street was aggressive and said he would blow up the building. Officers, the therapist on staff responded. A 63-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats, false imprisonment and violating probation.
11:40am A woman on Vine Street hit a car in the parking lot. The RP thought the woman was drunk because the woman yelled “What do you want me to do?” and tried to leave, almost hitting another vehicle. Officers responded and located the suspect. A 71-YO woman was arrested and taken to county jail for DUI, violating probation, and driving with a license suspended for DUI.
12:23pm The RP indicated that his two bikes valued at approximately $250 each were stolen. They were chained in the West Plaza Parking Lot on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP did not want a report. The RP should be contacted if found. An email was sent to patrol officers.
6:34pm The RP at Agave Mexican Restaurant on Vine Street wanted an officer to contact a woman outside speaking to herself. She also looked inside and made people uncomfortable. The RP wanted her trespassed from the property. An officer and the therapist on staff contacted the woman and advised her of the complaint.
Saturday, Dec. 14
12:41am A vehicle on Grove Street was stopped for violating vehicle registration rules. A 61-YO man was cited and released on two outstanding Sonoma County warrants regarding violation of probation, burglary, failure to appear in court, and possession of methamphetamine.
10:44am Fraud occurred on University Street. The RP received an email asking the RP to send $2,000 or private videos of the RP would be leaked. During the prior week the RP’s checking account was hacked and $30,000 was reimbursed by the bank. On Dec. 13, the RP received a call from someone claiming to be from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, but the RP hung up. An officer responded and provided advice.
4:14pm A man at Badger Park on Heron Drive took parts off of a vehicle. Officers responded and the man was found to be on probation. A search was conducted. The 64-YO man was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation. A report was taken.
6:37pm The RP on Grant Street received a death threat via phone saying, “I will pull up to your house and kill everyone inside.” The suspect also falsely told the RP that the RP’s daughter was in a vehicle accident. The RP’s daughter was home with the RP. The RP believed the death threat to be valid. An officer responded and it was determined to be a prank call.
Sunday, Dec. 15
1:13am A vehicle near Plank Coffee on Dry Creek Road was stopped for violating license plate rules. A 42-YO man was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, and violation of probation.
2:11am A patient was treated at the Healdsburg General Hospital on University Avenue. The patient’s family and friends with the patient had been drinking. An acquaintance was verbally aggressive with hospital staff and got in the way of treating the patient. Officers responded, contacted all parties, and they agreed to keep the peace.
9:57am The RP indicated there was a possible drunk driver on Healdsburg Avenue at Paul Wittke Drive. Officers responded and located the vehicle in the Big John’s parking lot. The driver had not been drinking and was given a verbal warning for unsafe lane changes and violating license plate rules.
3:07pm A vehicle was stopped near the Russian River Trailer Park on Healdsburg Avenue for speeding on a bridge and because the driver was identified as a person on probation for DUI. A 47-YO man was cited and released for driving without a license and violating probation.
6:15pm A person was stopped near the L & M Motel on Healdsburg Avenue for riding a bike without lights and riding slowly, impeding traffic. A 36-YO man was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, and violation of probation. The man was asked about a different incident, a fight, and he stated that he was not the primary aggressor and said the fight was mutual and in self-defense.
8:13pm The RP at Healdsburg General Hospital on University Avenue indicated that a patient was dropped off at the emergency department with a facial injury sustained from an altercation at John and Zeke’s. The patient had been drinking and the fight started when the other party made comments about the RP’s wife. An officer responded. The victim did not want to press charges and stated that it was a misunderstanding.
