What brought you here?
My parents moved here when I was a little girl. I am the third generation to live in the area. My grandparents lived in Healdsburg and now live in Windsor. My parents moved here and loved Cloverdale. They moved away for a few years but once their family started growing they decided to return to Cloverdale and purchase a house. They loved Cloverdale. It was a place to raise their family.
What keeps you here?
It’s the small community, and now that I have my own children, it’s the involvement and friendliness of Cloverdale. I try to get involved with whatever activities my kids are in. I have been part of Relay for Life, I’m part of the Cloverdale Youth Soccer League. I graduated from Cloverdale High and started at Esparza’s Video where I worked for years so a lot of people know me as the video store girl. Then I worked at Exchange Bank for almost 11 years and now I’m at Alexander Valley Healthcare. I always try to stay close to home and to my community. I like being involved here, working and living here. My husband and I have 3 children. We’ve known each other since we were 7 years old, we were high school sweethearts and this year we will have been married for 20 years.
