Sonoma County mayors, who want to know how the pros do things,
may want to take note of an upcoming appearance by one of their
inimitable colleagues: Da Mayor himself. The Honorable Willie L.
Brown, mayor of San Francisco and former speaker of the State
Assembly, and now one of Gov. Schwarzenegger’s trusted advisors,
will be in Healdsburg on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. Mayor Brown,
who was S.F.’s first African American mayor, will appear as part of
the Healdsburg Performing Arts Theater’s “Conversations” series.
Brown will be interviewed by KSRO radio personality Jim Grady.
After the interview, the mayor will take questions from the
audience. Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 for students and
available at www.Healdsburg PAT.org or in Healdsburg at Toyon
Books.
