Two of America’s leading thinkers on issues of national
importance, with insight into the most significant topics of the
upcoming presidential election, will square off in debate at the
Luther Burbank Center for the Arts at 8 p.m. on Oct. 16, just 16
days before the election. Newt Gingrich, well-known architect of
the Contract with America, and Robert Reich, Secretary of Labor in
the Clinton administration, represent vastly opposing points of
view and will pai off in a one-hour debate focusing on issues of
national concern, including the war in Iraq, the economy, health
care, and tax reform. Tickets are $42, $52, $62 & $75, which

New Harvest Fair Board
members
Last week on the eve of the 30th annual Sonoma County Harvest
Fair, two new directors were named to the fair board: PR maven
Marie Gewirtz and new Sonoma County Agricultural Commissioner Lisa
Correia. Gewirtz owns her own public relations and marketing firm,
has been involved with the food and wine industry for 22 years and
is considered one the best in the business. Congratulations.
