Take a walk on the quiet side
There’s nothing like really planning ahead … and since the
annual walk through the Sebastopol Memorial Lawn Cemetery usually
sells out, now is the time to buy your tickets, even though the
event isn’t until October. A fund-raiser for The Western Sonoma
County Historical Society, the Barbara Bull Memorial Sebastopol
Memorial Lan Cemetery Walk will be held Friday, Oct. 7 and
Saturday, Oct. 8 with walks at 5:30, 6:15, 7 and 7:45 p.m. The $25
ticket price includes soup, salad and homemade bread dinner with a
living history walk and old-fashioned apple crisp an coffee dessert
served in the cottage at Luther Burbank’s Gold Ridge farm. Call

California Indian basketry art
“The Art of California Indian Basketry with Lucy Parker” will be
presented at the California Indian Museum and Cultural Center on
Saturday, April 30 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. The free presentation is
open to the public. The museum is located at 5250 Aero Dr. in Santa
Rosa.
