The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Sonoma County is once again
offering Hispanic high school seniors the opportunity to apply for
college or trade school scholarships. Scholarships will be
presented to winners during a reception at the Vineyard Creek Hotel
on Saturday, June 3.
Applications have been sent to all high schools in Sonoma County
and the deadline to apply is Friday, Feb. 24. If high school
counselors do not have the applications, students may request them
from the chamber office by calling 577-7219 or by calling the
Community Foundation Sonoma County, 579-4073. Applications are also
available online at www.sonomacf.org/grants-scholarships.
Talent Showcase at the Raven
The Best of the Community Talent Showcase, featuring singing,
danding and more, is this Saturday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the
Raven in Healdsburg. Tickets are $12 for adults, $5 ages 17 and
younger. Call 433-6335 for more information.
