The Russian River Wine Road

will present the 6th annual “Wine & Food Affair” on Nov. 1
and 2 featuring the wine and food pairings of 54 wine road
wineries. Included in the cost of $40 ticket is a “Tasting Along
The Wine Road” cookbook, which has the recipes served by the
wineries during the event. The event takes place from 1 to 4 p.m.

If wild mushrooms and truffles tickle your fancy, then the third
annual Wild Mushroom and Truffle Festival at Chateau Souverain
should pique your interest – and tastebuds. On Saturday, Nov. 8,
from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be live music, mushrooms, wine,
truffles and chocolate. There will also be local cheeses and even
truffle honey. Admission is $20 in advance and $25 the day of the
event. Tickets can be ordered by phone at 888-80-WINES or in person
at the Chateau Souverain tasting room. The winery is located at 400
Souverain Rd. in Geyserville.
