A few Wine & Food events

Whoops. Last week we had the date wrong for a free wine event
and here’s the right one: On Saturday, Nov. 27 from 1 to 3 p.m.
KSRO Wine Guy, Tom Simoneau, will be pouring his
vineyard designated 2002 Simoneau Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon and 2002
Simoneau Ranch Chardonnay at the Windsor Vineyards Open House at
308B Center St. in Healdsburg.
Chocolate lovers take note, The Simi Winery Holiday
Chocolate Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 4 from
1-4 p.m. It will feature an array of indulgent treats paired with
Simi Winery 2002 Petite Sirah and 2002 Merlot. Two fondues will
exhibit different levels of cocoa, savory foods will feature
chocolate and there will be a truffle tasting. Guests will also be
able to leave with a few recipes created by Simi Chef Eric Lee and
a surprise gift. The Simi Visitors Center is located at 16275
Healdsburg Ave., Healdsburg. Tickets are $25 per person. RSVP by
Dec.3., 473-3213.
