A few Wine & Food events

The monthly wine bar at Jimtown Store will
feature Harry and Billie Merlo of Dry Creek Valley and the wines
from Lago di Merlo Vineyard and Winery. The wine bar is Thursday,
Aug. 5 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Merlos will be pouring their 2003
Ca’Bella North Coast Sauvignon Blanc and their 2002 Dry Creek
Zinfandel. The cost is $18 per person and guests will also enjoy
the Jimtown Store’s tasting menu, which includes rock shrimp pizza,
two salads and herb and garlic roasted leg of lamb. For

The Taft Street Winery Hospitality Center is
featuring the work of Stella Monday, a Sebastopol photographer,
through Aug. 31. An open house and reception for the artist will be
held on Sunday, Aug. 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the winery, located at
2030 Barlow Ln. in Sebastopol.
Costeaux French Bakery and Cafe in Healdsburg
is now open Fridays and Saturdays, from 6-9 p.m. for light dinners.
And they offer Tuesday Night Concert Box dinner specials to go.
