Incoming Animals
June 30: Two brown and white, male, Pit mix dogs were brought in by Animal Control. They were found running loose on Grove Street.
July 3: Five kittens were brought in, about a week old. The owners were in the process of moving and the nursing mom cat jumped out of the car and ran off. The kittens were taken in and transported to Santa Rosa for health checks and sent to foster homes.
July 5: Mom and 4-week-old kitten brought in by Animal Control. They were the rest of the litter of the four kittens that were brought in on June 28. They were transported to Santa Rosa for health checks and foster care.
July 6: An injured chicken was brought in by Animal Control. She was transported to Santa Rosa to be looked at by the shelter medical team and be evaluated by veterinarian who specializes in fowl.
July 7: A DOA cat was brought in from a feral cat colony caretaker near Grant Street. No microchip detected. The cat had been dead for some time, making it difficult to identify color, markings or sex. A posting was sent out on Facebook in case there is an owner looking for the cat.
July 7: A black and red rooster was brought in by Animal Control after being found wandering in a yard on University Avenue.
Returned to Owner
June 30: Two brown and white, male Pit mix dogs were redeemed by their owners.
Adoptions
June 30: Augustin, Julien, Luka, Pigatha; two month old kittens.
July 1: Ash, Pipsqueak, Potamus; two month old kittens.
July 1: Little Red; female long haired Chihuahua mix.
July 3: Sissy, Yoda, James; two month old kittens.
July 3: June, 1.5 year old brown tabby female.
July 6: Pizza and Pinto, two month old kittens.
July 7: Pillow and Pip, two month old kittens.
July 7: Foxxy; 1 year old, female, calico cat.
