Elvira “Vera” Molina, age 89, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7 in the Valley Convalescent and Rehabilitation Hospital in Watsonville, California, a caring and loving facility, following a short illness. Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Q. Molina, daughter, Cindy Molina, and son, James Molina. She is survived by her sister, Alicia Andrade of New Mexico; children Carlos Molina, Patricia (Jorge Torres) Molina, Barbara (Elias) Tamayo, Thomas Molina, and Alicia (Tim Alexander) Molina; grandchildren Leonard (Victoria) Gaitan, George (Christina) Molina, Carlos Molina, Christi (Barry) Eisiminger, Stacey Tamayo, Sergio (Veronica) Torres, James Andrew Molina , John-Paul (Shannon) Tamayo, Irene (Tony) Nava, Jorge Valente Torres, Kimberly (Sean) Kent, Jason (Shandee) Alexander, and Andrea (Bret Hammer) Molina, as well as numer ous great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. All who shared their lives with Vera will remember her love of celebrating, family gatherings, dancing, and her generous sense of humor, which she enjoyed to her final hours. We will miss you.
