Fredia Janette Humphries Maraganis, a long time resident of Clearlake, passed away at the home of her beloved niece, Lorenda House, in Cloverdale on the 16th of May, 2019.
Fredia is preceded in death by her son Nicholas Maraganis and her husband Charles.Â
She is survived by two sons John and Alec Maraganis, both of Los Angeles, as well as her three grandchildren Nicholas, Mikala, Alyssa, and several great grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and many extended family members who loved her dearly.
Frieda was born June 6, 1939 in Hamburg, Arkansas. She served in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1962.
Fredia left her mark upon the world through teaching kindness by living it. Her smile and laugh will be greatly missed, though we rejoice in her reuniting with her son.
