Thomas Patrick Garvin, 76, of Monte Rio, died on March 23 in
Santa Rosa. Thomas was born and raised in San Francisco and moved
to Sonoma County in 1985. He was a member of the Northwood Men’s
Golf Club for many years. Thomas enjoyed painting and was a
professional artist for 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 26
years, Betty Garvin; his daughters, Kathleen, Teresa and Kimberly
Garvin; granddaughter, Chanel Briana Garvin; step-children, Robert
Grau, Judy Meaders, Diane Callaway and Debra Grau; eight step
grandchildren; his brothers, Michael (Elena) and Daniel (Carol)
Garvin and numerous nieces and nephews. Donations may be made in
his name to the Monte Rio Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 536,
Monte Rio, CA 95452. No services will be held per his request.
