Nikki Lorraine Palecek – loved walking and reading

Nikki Lorraine Palecek, 57, passed away at home on Friday, March
4, 2005 in Healdsburg after a courageous battle against breast
cancer. She was the loving wife of 33 years to Paul Palecek of
Healdsburg; the mother of Naomi Hackathorn and Erin Espinoza of
Santa Rosa; and the grandmother of Emma Hackathorn of Santa Rosa.
She is predeceased by her father William Champlin. She was the
daughter of Joyce Champlin of Sacramento, sister of Bill Champlin
of Sacramento and Patty Sledge of Sacramento. Nikki was a native of
Sacramento, and lived in Sonoma County 36 years. She retired from
the State of California as a LPA. She loved gardening, walking,
reading and especially reading her bible. She was also a member of
the Redwood Empire Cursillo. Her personal website can be found at

memorial service on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 2 p.m. at
Healdsburg Community Church, 1100 University Avenue in Healdsburg.
