Marina Edith McKenna, native of Italy

Marina Edith McKenna, 82, passed away peacefully at her home in
Sebastopol on Monday, March 7, 2005. She was the dearly beloved
mother of James McMurtrie of Sebastopol and Mike McKenna and his
wife Rachel of Sebastopol; grandmother of Jason McMurtrie and his
wife Julie, Stefanie McMurtrie of Santa Rosa, Michael McKenna and
his wife Karen of Windsor, Timothy, Mary and Rebekah McKenna of
Sebastopol; dear great-grandmother of Maiya Flores of Santa Rosa;
sister of Lillian Deatherage of Rohnert Park; she is also survived
by numerous nieces and nephews. A native of Ancona, Italy, she was
a resident of Sonoma County for 56 years. She was an employee of
Cushions, which became Santa Rosa Shoe Factory, for 27 years. She
was a woman of strong personal faith. Gardening, cooking, sewing
and playing cards were activities she enjoyed, but her family was
the center of her life. Services were held on Saturday, March 19,
2005 at the Living Word Family Church in Santa Rosa. Inurnment will
be private.
